Thanks again to David Friedman for sharing such an important fundamental:

LISTEN GENEROUSLY. Listening is more than simply “not speaking.” Be present and engaged. Quiet the noise in your head and let go of the need to agree or disagree. Create space for team members to express themselves without judgment. Listen with care and empathy. Above all, listen to understand.

Dave W: I believe that you want to be present and not interfere with the statement being made. Let them speak there mind and listen with your eyes as well as your ears to see and understand their body language. I believe seeing someone lets you draw more from the conversation, as to there body language and emotion. While this cannot always happen, always reaffirm their thoughts by repeating back to them in your own words that they have said. We strive to resolve the problems we encounter within a timely manner to grow trust in our company

If everyone does this, everyone wins. That makes us a team.

Reading responses like those above are quite humbling to me. It is encouraging that we have individuals with this much depth to them. A special thanks to our team for their participation. We believe it is a privilege to learn something new each day. For more information, contact OCP here.
